Training, tastings, dinners, venues, gatherings.

In 2026, the journey expands to western Sicily, taking in new destinations across the province: wineries, salt flats, restaurants, lodging facilities, cities, and landscapes all become part of an itinerary designed to combine learning, discovery, and connection.

In early October, it’s still summer in Sicily: a wonderful time to experience Insolito, but also to explore the region, the sea, the wineries, the local flavors, and everything else happening in the area.

On *Insolito*, wine isn’t just about tasting—it’s the starting point for exploring places, products, stories, and connections. From Marsala to the wineries of western Sicily, the program brings together wines, great Italian products, local traditions, and new ideas in wine tourism. Special tastings, family-run wineries, and themed tours offer opportunities to discover the region through what you drink, taste, and share.

Restaurants, bars, cafes, wineries, hotels, and other hospitality venues are becoming part of Insolito.

In 2026, the Ho.Re.Ca. sector takes center stage through training, meetings, featured menus, masterclasses, and opportunities for discussion dedicated to those who work every day with the public, in service, and with the product. From coffee to wine, from the dining room to communication, this program is designed to help participants stay up to date, connect with one another, and envision new ways of welcoming guests.

HOSPITALITY 3.0

New ideas for traveling, welcoming visitors, and showcasing local areas.

Hospitality 3.0 is the space where Insolito looks to the future. Talks, case studies, and meetings with national and international guests will shape the discussion on travel, hospitality, artificial intelligence, digital content, immersive experiences, and destination storytelling. In 2026, the theme of hospitality will also extend to western Sicily: not just places to visit, but regions to explore, experience, and tell stories about in a new way.

From September 30 to October 4, 2026, Insolito will feature a mix of educational sessions, tastings, winery visits, dinners, music, and gatherings.

  • The morning will be devoted to professional discussions.
  • The afternoon will be spent exploring the world of wine, food, and the countryside.
  • The evening will be even more enjoyable, with dinners, DJ sets, mixology, music, and socializing.
