"Insolito" is, first and foremost, a family story.
For over ten years, through the University of Parma, summer schools, cultural projects, and gatherings, our family has experienced western Sicily up close—as a place to listen to, get to know, and call home over time.
From this connection arose the desire to give something back: to create a project that wouldn’t simply celebrate Sicily, but would attempt to tell its story through new forms of expression, without losing touch with its roots.
Insolito could not have been born anywhere else.
Insolito Marsala is conceived and curated by Eureka. Cultura e Innovazione , a cultural association based in Parma that has been active since 2018 in the planning of events, educational programs, and publishing initiatives.
Eureka works at the intersection of culture, communication, local communities, and innovation, building projects that connect people, skills, and ideas.
Among the projects developed over the years are Scritture d’Acqua, Mini Digital Festival, Street Islands, MadeinParma.com, and MadeinEgadi.com.
We want Insolito to become a Mediterranean hub for those seeking a more contemporary way to experience wine, hospitality, and travel.
A place where local expertise can meet national and international perspectives; where professionals, companies, students, creators, journalists, travelers, and wine lovers can exchange ideas, experiment with new formats, create content, and envision new collaborations.
We create opportunities for businesses, professionals, students, institutions, creators, and a targeted audience to come together, generating real value for the local area—cultural, tourism-related, professional, economic, and human.
It’s not just about showcasing beautiful places, but about highlighting the people, skills, and stories that bring them to life.
